Modern Chic Wedding with Classic Details at Mountain Shadows: Kelly & Zach

Kelly and Zach knew they wanted a modern, yet timeless wedding at the new hotspot in town where they could throw one hell of a party… and boy did they do just that!

Mountain Shadows Resort was the perfect venue for all of the local and out of state visitors to meet up and celebrate their one-of-a-kind love. These two care for each other unlike any couple we’ve ever known. Their love for each other, as well as their family and friends runs deep, and it showed throughout the entire planning process. Kelly’s brother is a graphic designer and helped to curate the perfect “wedding brand” that we carried throughout the entire wedding design from day one. I had so much fun working alongside him and getting to find fun and creative ways to incorporate K & Z’s monogram into every tiny detail. It also helped that they loved a good pun and had a fantastic sense of humor…it made the brainstorm sessions a real blast!

We loved that Kelly wanted to incorporate a Mauve tone over a more traditional blush, which proved to be challenging at times, but kept things exciting. My personal favorite part: her brother’s mauve suit for his Man of Honor role. Boy did he look dapper AF! Some other favorite parts of the day were the couple’s first look with each other, as well as Kelly’s first look with her dad. Both were filled with the raw emotions a wedding day brings out and as a planner, those are the moments you never forget.

K & Z- thank you for trusting us, loving us, and taking us into your family like we always belonged there. We love you (and every single person that attended your wedding). Can we do it again???????
