Trevor & Kellye are getting married on NYE of this year at SoHo63 and we can't WAIT- it's going to be one heck of a party! Until then, we figured we'd share their engagement story and show you some adorable photos from their surprise London engagement, as well as their stunning engagement shoot done up in Flagstaff with Ball Photo Co. This couple is so fun and it truly shows in all of the photos they take together.
Let me be suuuuuuper real with you for a hot minute, internet -we haven't posted this wedding yet because narrowing down the INCREDIBLE images from the talented Rachael Koscica Photography has felt like an extremely overwhelming task that I wasn't ready for. EVERY. SINGLE. PHOTO. from this day brings tears to my eyes. I see the moments, I feel the feelings. I relive the day over and over again. We love this couple so much. We love their families. We love their friends. We love their frenchie (who has her own Instagram, btw). And we REALLY love their wedding. The way THEY made US feel during THEIR wedding week/day is what we dream of as planners. We work hard to provide and serve our clients with everything we have and to feel the amount of trust, support, and love given by this couple and their crew is something we will never, EVER forget.
Shanlyn & Miguel's love story, planning process & wedding style could best be described as organic. The way everything falls together in life and weddings - but is quickly adjusted with the wind, was a lesson of the day and will surely cary with them in life. Wind and details aside, these two only needed their family, the ocean & each other to create their perfect wedding day. They celebrated with all the above and then some, perched atop the majestic cliffs of The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara. Tyler & I had many roles at this wedding. Not only were we the planners/coordinators; we were also the Matron of Honor, Officiant/groomsman, florist, parents of the 1.5-year old Ring Bearer, out-of-town guests, and we had our new 2-month old with us. We planned hard, worked hard, and then partied hard. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way, and are forever honored to have shared this day with two of our most valued friends.
Kaylee & Aaron were married on a gorgeous spring day in Dallas, Texas. They chose to get married in downtown Dallas, near the Art's District, at the Magnolia Hotel. Surrounded by buildings of every shape, size, and color, these two were married in front of 130 of their closest friends and family. Kaylee & Aaron are the nicest people in the world (almost TOO nice if you ask me), and Kaylee just happens to be my youngest sister (still not sure how we came from the same parents, ha). So, as you can imagine, it was an extra special day for all of us. Tyler & I had many roles at this wedding. Not only were we the planners/coordinators; we were also the Matron of Honor, Officiant, Parent's to the 3 month old Ring Bearer, and out-of-town guests. Needless to say, it was a busy day for Konsider It Done....but we did it! This wedding turned out amazing and we were so happy to be working alongside a couple of our favorite AZ vendors who traveled all the way to Dallas for this wedding- Stephanie Fay Photography & MGN Cinematography.
Have you ever been to Santorini, Greece? If the answer is no, you need to STOP what you are doing and start planning a trip there RIGHT NOW. Tyler & I went to Greece for our 2 week honeymoon immediately after our wedding. We actually made it to 3 different places in Greece- Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens. Santorini was our favorite island and by far the most magical place we have ever been. Every morning when you wake up and look around, it feels like you're in a dream. Everything is so beautiful, so white and so bright. There are fuchsia bougainvillea everywhere you look. Santorini, Greece is one of the most romantic, intimate cities in the world. Perched atop steep caldera-shaped volcanic cliffs and overlooking the majestic Aegean Sea, it’s difficult to imagine anything more enchanting than the natural scenery. But somehow, painted amidst that breath-taking backdrop, the architecture, food and locals truly make Santorini a gem among all the beauty that Greece has to offer.
Lauren & Blaise had a beautiful fall wedding held in downtown Phoenix at Heritage Square. These 2 foodies knew they wanted a 1-of-a-kind wedding filled with hand crafted cocktails, an interactive charcuterie station during cocktail hour, and dinner provided by some of their favorite local food trucks. And that's exactly what they got. Guests were treated to some pretty spectacular grub- that's for sure! This day was filled with so much love, deep emotions, and the couple's 2 cute pups.
Erin & Patrick were married on New Year's Eve in Downtown Phoenix at The monOrchid. This wedding was unlike any other wedding we've ever planned and was definitely the greatest PARTY we've ever gotten to attend. ;) It was really important for Erin & Patrick to have a wedding that truly represented them as a couple. Having a "traditional" wedding, just wasn't part of that plan. New Year's Eve was the perfect excuse to be "non-traditional." (Side note: As a planner, a NYE wedding was on my bucket list...and it was everything I ever dreamed it would be.) The wedding itself, started much later in the evening. They did a cocktail hour first, followed by their ceremony, and lastly threw a huge party! There was no bridal party, no sit down dinner... but there was arcade games & loads of dancing!! We decided on a wintery theme (genius, right?) with deep, rich, but simple colors- evergreen, burgundy (& a few pops of a brighter version for florals/ceremony backdrop), cream, black, w/ gold accents. Plaid, of course, was included in this wintery look to help give it a cozy feeling that we could all enjoy.
Considering our oldest, Becks, is going to be 2 later this month...I figured it was about time I share my baby shower that was thrown for he & I. This is a day I will remember forever. Honestly, I really hated being pregnant- it just wasn't my jam. I had a very healthy, normal pregnancy...for which I am SO thankful for. It just wasn't for me. BUT, while pregnant, I was beyond excited to have a baby shower. These days, baby showers are like weddings. HA! A large production (usually with a theme), lots of vendors involved, a large guest list, and gifts. See, a wedding! All jokes aside, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect shower.
Nora & Jeff were married last fall at Phoenix Art Museum. We will always have a special place in our hearts for these 2. Our first meeting/consultation with them was 3 days after Christmas, and the day before I went into labor with our first baby boy, Becks. We had to tell them this was a "tentative" meeting...with the hopes of not going into labor. Baby boy stayed put and our first meeting with Nora & Jeff was so fun- it was like we had known them for years! We talked for hours and we couldn't WAIT to start designing & planning with them over the next 10 months or so.
