Ok- let me start by saying….this couple right here…we love them SO much! They are so joyful and funny and kind and we are SO excited for their upcoming wedding. We met Caroline through Bright Event Rentals, where she currently works. We’ve had the pleasure of doing “work lunches/happy hours” and styled shoots with her in the past via our industry connection, but now it’s time for HER to be the bride. If I’m being honest, Caroline is my (Kris) spirit animal. We are so alike, it’s insane. We are so honored and excited to be a part of her upcoming wedding at El Chorro this summer. Both Italians and Greeks will be in attendance so you KNOW it’s going to be an unforgettable event.
In celebration of their 1 year anniversary, we wanted to share Annika & Aaron’s intimate Cinco De Mayo wedding with all of you. A&A were married at one of the most popular wedding venue’s in Arizona- El Chorro. The mountain views, desert landscape, and lush greenery make it a show-stopping venue for not only the locals, but especially for the out-of-towners!! Now don’t get me wrong, the views are great and all but HAVEYOUHADTHESTICKYBUNS?!?!?!?!
Working in the wedding industry can sometimes feel like a game of copy/paste/repeat. When blush and ivory aren't just a trend anymore, they are forever wedding colors that aren't going anywhere...we found ourselves in need of a colorful creative outlet. We decided to design a rainbow shoot with the help of some of our most favorite creatives.
Charles and Alex met back in 2007 at University of Michigan. They were both signed up to attend a summer-long leadership training program with their church and ended up being in the same carpool down to Virginia Beach! That summer, they both felt an instant spark, however, they did not start dating until a few years later.
If you had a heartbeat, a TV, and any sort of interest in weddings - you were captivated by The Royal Wedding last year. The lush greenery, the garden atmosphere, and the grandiosity of the event took our breath away. We’re a world away from Windsor, but we set out to create a royal inspired black tie garden shoot, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
Kellye & Trevor were married this past New Year’s Eve in Chandler, Arizona at SoHo63. It was said to be one of the “coldest and wettest NYE” in like 25 years!!! (2 words usually not used to describe Arizona weather… that’s for sure). But these two didn’t let the weather ruin their special day. Instead, they embraced it, we moved the ceremony inside, and they still had their first NYE kiss as husband and wife when the clock struck midnight.
With brunch weddings being one of today’s hottest trends, brunch was the leading inspiration behind this shoot. Vibrant and natural colors was the second. For the cost conscious couple, brunch weddings pose the best compromise of on-trend and on-budget. For the same reason brunch weddings have become such a craze, we predict they’ll remain a wedding mainstay for years to come. Because really, who doesn’t love brunch? A pop of color, bubbly, breakfast food, and love! Best served before noon.
As promised, today we are sharing all about the real wedding we were able to be a part of with Sinclair & Moore last summer through their Real Wedding Workshop. You can read more about our experience at the actual Sinclair & Moore Workshop here.
Paige & Peter were married last June at DeLille Cellars on a typical Seattle, Washington day filled with both rain and sunshine. It was fairly cold and rainy most of the day, but the sun peeked through the dark clouds just in time for photos & ceremony. If you can imagine this…these images are filled with Steve’s “Plan B”. Did you catch that? THIS WAS THE BACKUP PLAN!!!!!! To see this day unfold and see every single detail so perfectly thought out was something I’ll never forget.
Every good love story is actually a series of embarrassing stories, strung together that average out to be a sappy love story, right? But not all parts are sappy. Some aren’t even romantic. Some read like the TV show “Drunken History”... Like that one time when Nick first met Brittany. She wasn’t available, but the friend zone wasn’t where Nick wanted to stay… Persistence and thousands of dollars later, they had the wedding of their dreams. The end. Ok, so that’s not 100% true, but nobody really knows the full truth of the day these two met.
Alexa & Blake are getting married early next year at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are having so much fun designing and planning with these two. They’ve got a fantastic sense of humor and killer style. This wedding is going to be one hell of a party- that’s for sure!!! Also, they aren’t afraid of color… our FAVORITE thing to hear. Be on the lookout for this stunner of a wedding very soon.
