Shanlyn & Miguel: Married!

If I'm biased - sue me - we planned the shit out of my best friend's wedding and here's my chance to gush about it. I hope you enjoy reading about it even a fraction as much as we enjoyed planning & attending it. Cheers!

Shanlyn & Miguel's love story, planning process & wedding style could best be described as organic. The way everything falls together in life and weddings - but is quickly adjusted with the wind, was a lesson of the day and will surely cary with them in life. Wind and details aside, these two only needed their family, the ocean & each other to create their perfect wedding day. They celebrated with all the above and then some, perched atop the majestic cliffs of The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara. Tyler & I had many roles at this wedding. Not only were we the planners/coordinators; we were also the Matron of Honor, Officiant/groomsman, florist, parents of the 1.5-year old Ring Bearer, out-of-town guests, and we had our new 2-month old with us. We planned hard, worked hard, and then partied hard. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way, and are forever honored to have shared this day with two of our most valued friends.

When you find a venue as perfect as The Bacara - you book it. And then tell your planner to work budget and style around it. Right? Well, that's exactly what happened. Who could argue with the backdrop the venue provides? With tasteful decor from Tremaine Ranch, beautiful BBJ linens, watercolored paper products by Freed Hands, and floral by yours truly - we worked to simply accentuate the already beautiful atmosphere. If the Pacific coastal breeze wanted it's design opinion known, let me be the first to say: we heard it! A good planner embraces the unexpected and always answers with a solution. Dozens of solutions later, we were ready for showtime, and pulled off one of the most windswept ceremonies to date. The couple's personalities radiated through the ceremony. Tyler pulled out all the stops with laughs and sentiment, complimented by sweet & quirky vows from the couple. It couldn't have been more fitting, unless the acoustic melodies carrying them down the aisle were played perfectly by a dear friend... I know... It was amazing.

Thank you Shan & Miguel (Shiggy), for giving us the honor of planning this day with you, and all of the additional moments we shared throughout. We love you dearly, and will always remember when our third wheel upgraded to a fourth wheel. XO.

***Special shoutout to Malori from Hoot & Holler for her floral guidance throughout the planning of this wedding and for hand dying the most beautiful silk used for the bouquets and boutonnieres.  Also, to Jamie from Copper+Cotton for flying out to Santat Barbabra to be our day-of coordinator.  We couldn't have pulled off all of our wedding duties for this one without them!!

Kaylee & Aaron: Married!

Kaylee & Aaron were married on a gorgeous spring day in Dallas, Texas.  They chose to get married in downtown Dallas, near the Art's District, at the Magnolia Hotel.  Surrounded by buildings of every shape, size, and color, these two were married in front of 130 of their closest friends and family. Kaylee & Aaron are the nicest people in the world (almost TOO nice if you ask me), and Kaylee just happens to be my youngest sister (still not sure how we came from the same parents, ha).  So, as you can imagine, it was an extra special day for all of us.  Tyler & I had many roles at this wedding.  Not only were we the planners/coordinators; we were also the Matron of Honor, Officiant, Parent's to the 3 month old Ring Bearer, and out-of-town guests.  Needless to say, it was a busy day for Konsider It Done....but we did it!  This wedding turned out amazing and we were so happy to be working alongside a couple of our favorite AZ vendors who traveled all the way to Dallas for this wedding- Stephanie Fay Photography & MGN Cinematography.

Kaylee sort of knew how she wanted her big day to look like, but wasn't really sure how to make that happen.  We ended up using soft spring pastels as the color pallet to really give the day a very romantic feel.  Angie over at Posh Floral did her part in making the day as romantic as possible by adding the most beautiful floral arrangements and lots and lots and LOTS of candles.  Kaylee & Aaron opted to not do a first look, which made their walk down the aisle, that much more emotional.  Kaylee's bridal look was effortless and out of a fairy tail.  The guys looked handsome as ever in grey.  Tyler did an incredible job during the ceremony and there wasn't a dry eye in the place!  These 2 and their friends like to dance and have a good time so the reception was one we will never forget- plus, there's photo and video to prove it! ;) I also might have given one of the best MOH speeches (with my other sister, Courtney) that had the entire room roaring with laughter.  Their Tex-Mex menu included so many delicious options for dinner and was followed up with churros and sopapillas for dessert. Isn't it the best when wedding food is LEGIT!?!?!? We sure think so.

Thank you K & A for allowing us to be part of your special day.  Planning long distance wasn't an issue and we loved getting to be a part of your beautiful Dallas wedding.  Here's to a lifetime of happiness and your happily ever after.  We love you guys!! XO

Styled Shoot: Santorini Inspired Goodness

Have you ever been to Santorini, Greece?  If the answer is no, you need to STOP what you are doing and start planning a trip there RIGHT NOW.  Tyler & I went to Greece for our 2 week honeymoon immediately after our wedding.  We actually made it to 3 different places in Greece- Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens.  Santorini was our favorite island and by far the most magical place we have ever been.  Every morning when you wake up and look around, it feels like you're in a dream.  Everything is so beautiful, so white and so bright.  There are fuchsia bougainvillea everywhere you look.  Santorini, Greece is one of the most romantic, intimate cities in the world. Perched atop steep caldera-shaped volcanic cliffs and overlooking the majestic Aegean Sea, it’s difficult to imagine anything more enchanting than the natural scenery. But somehow, painted amidst that breath-taking backdrop, the architecture, food and locals truly make Santorini a gem among all the beauty that Greece has to offer.
Our mission with this shoot was to encapsulate as much of that authenticity as possible. Not only did we honeymoon in Greece, so did the duo over at Tremaine Ranch, so it was easy to style and bring the vision of every detail for this shoot into fruition. The beautifully handmade furniture provided by Tremaine Ranch portrayed the eclectic and genuine nature of the classic Mediterranean ambiance. Adorned with cobalt blues, organic greenery, and volcanic-slate inspired plates, the table settings instantly transported us all back to the island. For a moment, we were certain we could smell the salt water lingering in the air, remembering the days we spent celebrating our love in our own sliver of Grecian paradise.

All Photos-0054.jpg

Paying homage to the white buildings and blue rooftops of Santorini, SoHo63‘s white walls and grand fireplace enhanced the design with grace. Among the fuchsia shades of florals sprung Greek olive branches and lush eucalyptus, and the sweet magenta perfume was as intoxicating as the arrangements were jaw dropping- Garden Gate Flowers really knocked this one out of the park! Amidst tough competition, the real showstopper of the day was the gorgeous three tiered wedding cake done by Haley of Heartsweet Cakes. From the hand-painted intricate tile patterns to the delicately edible fuchsia sugar bougainvilleas cascading down the side, every detail of this cake was stunning. Swoon! Completing our culinary tour, traditional baklava and homemade lemon blueberry scones ensured everyone’s eyes and appetites were completely satisfied. Rhea, a past bride of ours & the beautiful face behind the Phood Fight Instagram account, was gracious enough to lend her kitchen talents to our delicious dessert spread.

Our ocean-inspired ombre watercolor invitation suite with a matching menu reminded us how high brides can set the bar before the wedding day even arrives. Tenn Letters really went above and beyond to create such whimsical, yet simple, paper goods that everyone loved.  Following suit, hand-brushed French macaroons added the perfect amount of panache, reflecting the foaming waves dancing at the base of the dark cliffs. Our bride wore a combination of dresses, each representing a different aspect of Greek culture. The first two were goddess-inspired; a long sleeve lace fitted gown as well as a summery classic gown from Grace Style and Bridal. The bridesmaids dresses also heightened the delicate medley of formalwear, providing soft tones that diffused the vibrant details of the day while elegantly reminding us of the light gray tiles that clack beneath the hooves of the infamous Santorini donkeys. Her third gown was a custom ethereal dress by Cleo and Clementine that fit comfortably and danced in the breeze. (FUN FACT: This C&C gown was actually Jonnie's real wedding dress!) With her tousled, spiraled curls and dramatic lashes, she embodied a sun-kissed Aphrodite, with a colorful pop of pink lips to match the bright florals. Opposite our bride, the groom wore a navy suit and floral tie with a splash of magenta to mimic the bougainvilleas that compliment the blue doorways of the steep corridors. All of the beautifully planned and unplanned moments were perfectly captured by the incredible Karlee K Photography as well as Erica Marr Films. Keep scrolling to see more pretty and make sure you watch the stunner of a video at the end. This shoot is one of the best things we've ever helped create.  It's work we never get tired of looking's almost funny that this is even considered "work."

Lauren & Blaise: Married!

Lauren & Blaise had a beautiful fall wedding held in downtown Phoenix at Heritage Square.  These 2 foodies knew they wanted a 1-of-a-kind wedding filled with hand crafted cocktails, an interactive charcuterie station during cocktail hour, and dinner provided by some of their favorite local food trucks.  And that's exactly what they got.  Guests were treated to some pretty spectacular grub- that's for sure! This day was filled with so much love, deep emotions, and the couple's 2 cute pups.  Lauren & Blaise sure do know how to have a good time and this is definitely a wedding we won't ever forget. It didn't hurt that the Arizona Diamondbacks won their game that night so at the very end of their reception, the sky was filled with the most beautiful fireworks show (just don't tell anyone it was for the was TOTALLY part of the wedding :::wink::wink:::).  Check out these dark & moody, amazing photos from the ever talented duo over at Shepard Visuals. And be sure to see JUST how much fun this day really was by watching the rad video done by North Birch Productions.

Happy Birthday Tyler!

It's this guy's birthday. We won't talk about how OLD he is- all you need to know is that he's older than me (& he always will be).

This last year of life has been a crazy one.  We had a [another] baby...(well, I actually had the baby, he didn't). We moved to a new state.  He started a new job in the new state a week before said baby was born.  Nuts- it's the only way to describe it. Absolutely nuts.  And through all of this, he's been the rock.  He is the superhero of our family.  He's the smartest person I know and he works his tail off.  He cooks dinner every night and breakfast every weekend. He can build and/or fix anything.  He's got pretty legit style and KILLER hair. He provides for us and he always tries to put his family first. Oh, and he puts up with easy task, that's for sure.  ;)

It's no secret, I know everyone likes him better than me.  The kids like him more than me, our grooms like him wayyyyy more than me (ok, only a little more), and our friends definitely like him more than me.  He's just that guy.  He's a the best dad, a great friend, a fantastic officiant (ha), and an even better partner.  Our relationship isn't perfect.  In fact, it's actually really hard and it's a lot of work, but he is always willing to work for it.  He's my biggest cheerleader and I know he always will be.  He deserves to be celebrated every day, but today, especially.  I'll never be able to put into words how incredible I think he is, but hopefully I make him feel it.  Happy Birthday to my better half!  ILY- LET'S PARTY!!!!

Erin & Patrick: Married!

Erin & Patrick were married on New Year's Eve in Downtown Phoenix at The monOrchid.  This wedding was unlike any other wedding we've ever planned and was definitely the greatest PARTY we've ever gotten to attend.  ;)  It was really important for Erin & Patrick to have a wedding that truly represented them as a couple.  Having a "traditional" wedding, just wasn't part of that plan. New Year's Eve was the perfect excuse to be "non-traditional."  (Side note: As a planner, a NYE wedding was on my bucket list...and it was everything I ever dreamed it would be.) The wedding itself, started much later in the evening.  They did a cocktail hour first, followed by their ceremony, and lastly threw a huge party! There was no bridal party, no sit down dinner... but there was arcade games & loads of dancing!!  We decided on a wintery theme (genius, right?) with deep, rich, but simple colors- evergreen, burgundy (& a few pops of a brighter version for florals/ceremony backdrop), cream, black, w/ gold accents.  Plaid, of course, was included in this wintery look to help give it a cozy feeling that we could all enjoy.

When you meet this couple, you wonder "how do i become as cool as them?" Not only are they cooler than all of us, they are also incredibly good looking, and 2 of the funniest people you'll ever meet.  Their wedding represented all of those things.  Erin even surprised Patrick and got leather jackets made for both of them that said, "It Was All a Dream" on the back. See, so cool, right?  To see more of their gorgeous wedding, checkout all of the AH-mazing photos from Kym Ventola and the amazeballs [yes, you read that correctly] video that helped this wedding go viral by the uber talented Love Story Films.

Idieh Design KILLED it on the design for these invitations.  She created a custom plaid using all of their wedding colors that was used as part of their suite, the day of paper goods, and we even surprised E&P and had it used as their custom stamps! Erin is a fantastic writer and came up with all of the hilarious wording used on the invites, programs, bar signs, etc... All of the paper goods from Erin & Patrick's wedding ended up being some of our most favorites to date!

Erin's look was PERFECT.  Classic, yet edgy. Simple, but show-stopping.  The combo of her Rime Arodaky gown, her Ryan Storer ear cuff, her Free People shoes, and her flawless hair & makeup made her truly a one-of-a-kind bride.  Stephanie from SN Makeup nailed Erin's NYE makeup look.  And the best lasted ALL NIGHT! (Also, doesn't Erin have the best eyebrows EVER?!?)

Erin & Patrick knew they wanted to do a first look on their wedding day.  This just also happened to be super ideal for photo taking considering the late start time.  This allowed for some daylight during photo time and thank goodness because these first look/couple portraits are INSANE.  They ended up doing their first look in a vacant building downtown called, The Abbey.  This place is unbelievable.  See for yourself below.

There's not enough words to describe to you how much we love Leah & Matt of Tremaine Ranch.  We spent a year working on this wedding with them and what they came up with blew us away.  Not only did they make custom high top tables w/ barstools specifically for this wedding, they built/hand-dyed the custom ceremony backdrop, and added new lounge items to their inventory just for this event.  They also provided the ceremony benches, the custom built bar, and the donut wall.  They helped make this wedding happen exactly as we envisioned it and we can't thank them enough for that.  They are just always so willing to go above and beyond for their clients and we appreciate that so SO much.

We wanted the reception to be relaxed, but rad.  The bride's mom handmade all of the plaid runners and pillows. There was pac-man, darts, ski-ball, and a huge dance floor.  The stations of food had the most incredible "late night snacks" and the dessert bar was out of control.  Not to mention the GORGEOUS donuts on the donut wall- courtesy of Welcome Chicken & Donuts.  The girls over at 1209 Creative did such an amazing job on the florals, pinecones, & greenery.  Those marble vases- I died when I saw them.  We added a few white Christmas trees on either side of the dance floor.  They were the perfect, simple addition to the wintery vibe we had going on.  At midnight, there was a count down, champagne, confetti, kisses, and breakfast burritos to-go.  If that doesn't make for a great night, I don't know what does.

This wedding has been featured on Junebug Weddings, Love Stories TV, The Knot, & Brides!

Shout out to the outstanding DREAM TEAM of vendors that worked on this one.  Each of you were hand picked for a reason and you really helped make this stunner what it was.  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

The Sweetest Arizona Baby Shower for Baby Becks

Considering our oldest, Becks, is going to be 2 later this month...I figured it was about time I share my baby shower that was thrown for he & I.  This is a day I will remember forever.  Honestly, I really hated being pregnant- it just wasn't my jam.  I had a very healthy, normal pregnancy...for which I am SO thankful for. It just wasn't for me.  BUT, while pregnant, I was beyond excited to have a baby shower. These days, baby showers are like weddings.  HA!  A large production (usually with a theme), lots of vendors involved, a large guest list, and gifts.  See, a wedding!  All jokes aside, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect shower.  When coming up for the theme/design, it was important for me to celebrate the fact that I was having a little boy, while recognizing my love for all things girly.  We decided to use the theme and color scheme from his nursery so we could incorporate some of the decor into both.  His room is a mix of mint, navy, and grey.  In order to make the shower a little more girly, we added in a deep magenta color, as well as a little glitter.  ;) As for the theme, it was kind of an "outdoor adventure"...if you will.  Enjoy these GORGEOUS photos by Katelyn Cantu Photography.

The shower was held on the gorgeous Tremaine Ranch property.  Leah & Matt were nice enough to let us use their space and man, we are so glad they did.  The outdoor setup was perfect for November in Arizona.  The weather couldn't have been ANY better.

Not only did Tremaine allow us to use their space, they also provided all of the tables, chairs, linens, wine barrels, and that super cozy couch where I got to open all of my gifts!  Leah was such a rockstar on the day of the shower and was kind enough to help my family set everything up.  There's really no one better than her.

Speaking of rockstars, Lindsay, with Fancy Lou, offered her talents to help with our design.  She provided the cute welcome table, chalkboard sign, dessert setup, goblets, flatware, glitter dipped feathers (my fav part), candles, much goodness.  She was so kind and so willing to go out of her way in order to help make my shower perfect.  I will forever be grateful for her.  She left no detail untouched.

This kid has been so well dressed since before he was even born.  I always joke that he's the best dressed person in our house...but it's really true.  He's such a stud.

Ok, let's take a moment to just chat about this dessert setup.  Andrea at aBakeshop blew my pregnant lady mind with this spread.  We had s'more macarons WITH GLITTER, red velvet whoopie pies, and the most delicious pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese filling.  All the food at my shower was perfect, but these desserts were LEGIT.  (I was pretty stoked that I got to take all the leftovers home....pretty sure I sat around and stuffed my face for a couple of days after the shower.) . Page & Mason made me the custom cake topper you see in the cake photo.  It's now framed in Becks' room with a couple other items from the shower and hangs on his wall as decor.  I love the memories I have from this day.

Shoutout to all of my moms for making this shower possible.  Thank you for loving me and for loving Becks (& Berkley) before they were even born.  They are so lucky to have so many grandparents and I'm so lucky to have so many moms.  XOXO

Thank you again to the amazing team of vendors who helped make this baby shower as stunning as it was.  You all were SO kind and generous with your talents and your time and I'll never be able to thank you enough.  And even though it's been 2 years (ha!)...thank you to all of my friends and family that came to help celebrate our baby boy's arrival.  Love you all!

Burgundy & Emerald Green Phoenix Art Museum Wedding: Nora & Jeff

Nora & Jeff were married last fall at Phoenix Art Museum.  We will always have a special place in our hearts for these 2.  Our first meeting/consultation with them was 3 days after Christmas, and the day before I went into labor with our first baby boy, Becks.  We had to tell them this was a "tentative" meeting...with the hopes of not going into labor.  Baby boy stayed put and our first meeting with Nora & Jeff was so fun- it was like we had known them for years!  We talked for hours and we couldn't WAIT to start designing & planning with them over the next 10 months or so. We started with a gorgeous color pallet that included shades of burgundy, evergreen, apricot, blush, and ivory.  This is such a pretty color combo, but also hard because you don't want the burgundy & evergreen combo to look like Christmas (especially when your bride is Jewish-haha).  They wanted a very classic-modern feel for their wedding so we based our design off of different geometric shapes and added in some basic black/white (ivory) combos here and there...all perfect for an art museum. The team of vendors we used for their big day was a stellar team.  Each vendor brought their incredible talents and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.  Check out photo's from Nora & Jeff's wedding day below...taken by the UBER talented Jonnie & Garrett.

How amazing are these invites done by Idieh Design?!?  They say your invites should set the tone for your big event.  I think Heidi nailed it with this design aesthetic.  The shapes.  The colors.  The gold foil.  We LOVE it all. And so did Nora & Jeff!

These guys were SO much fun.  They kept the laughs coming and the beers flowin'... Jeff's a lucky guy to have friends like this crew.

OK- first, let's talk about the color of these bridesmaid dresses. SO PERFECT.  Now, LET'S TALK ABOUT THESE FLOWERS! Nora actually had Hoot & Holler hired as her wedding florist before she hired us as her wedding designers/planners...and we can't say we were mad about this decision.  We've been lucky enough to work with Malori in the past and she is just incredible.  And this wedding [we think] was one of her all-time-best!  Nora was the bride of every florists' dreams.  She really let Malori be creative and do her thang...and man, Malori KILLED IT.  If you're looking for one badass florist (who might have a potty mouth like me), she's your girl.

For their reception, we decided to do a mix of rounds and long, family style tables.  Since the Great Hall is so large, it was our way of making it feel a little more intimate.  Tremaine Ranch helped to make the head table slightly different and unique by using their custom built harvest tables and bistro chairs.  We love working with them and can always count on their great style and positive attitudes to help make every wedding we do together a stylish blast! <--- WOW, that sounded SO cheesy... sorry Leah & Matt.

Romantic Scottsdale Engagement Session: Brittany & Nick

We've known Brittany & Nick for awhile you can imagine our excitement when they asked us to be a part of planning their special day.  They are getting married THIS WEEK at the Omni Montelucia in Paradise Valley.  We've got an amazing lineup of vendors that will help make this wedding a sure showstopper.  We CAN'T wait to show you the details...but until then, enjoy their romantic engagement story told by the bride below, and a few of their stunning engagement photos taken by the beautiful Marisa Belle Photography.

P.S.- Make sure you check out her GORGEOUS engagement ring!  Way to go Nick!  ;)

"Nick and I were driving to California from Phoenix to visit my family and friends. While driving through Los Angeles, Nick handed me a card that said we were going to celebrate my birthday early (two months early to be exact). He told me we would be staying the Cliffs Hotel in Pismo Beach that night and going on a winery tour the next day. Fast forward to the next morning, we took a long walk along the beach and went back to our hotel room to get ready. Nick started getting ready two hours before we had to leave which was very unusual. When I asked him why he was getting ready even before I did he told me that he was “on vacation and just wanted to relax before wine tasting.” Little did I know, he wanted to get ready first so that he could put the ring box in his socks. It was the only place he could keep it on him that I wouldn’t notice. While in the shower I joked that he was being too quiet and that usually meant he was up to no good! When we were both ready we called our Uber. Unfortunately, there was horrible traffic and our Uber also got lost. I noticed Nick was texting a lot and trying to turn his phone away from me. I asked him who he was texting so much and he said our wine tour guide. We finally arrived at the winery, Edna Valley Vineyards, and went on a great private wine tour. At the end of our tour, our tour guide Katie, suggested we go out to the vineyard to taste some of the grapes that were almost ready for harvest. While tasting the grapes, Katie said she had to take a phone call and would be right back. That’s when Nick turned me around, told me that I meant everything in the world to him, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. We took a little time to soak it all in and the photographer he had hired to capture our special moment took a few snapshots. As we headed up the hill back to the tasting room, I asked him if my mom was in town as I knew we would be meeting up with my family later. He said that she had to work and we would see her later in the week. But as we got to the top of the hill I saw all of my family, including my mom, waiting to celebrate with us! The surprises didn’t end there. Nick had the next week totally planned out. We spent two more nights in San Luis Obispo, then drove up the coast to Carmel and stayed in a suite overlooking the ocean. A few hours after our arrival in Carmel, I got another surprise. Nicks two sisters and their husbands had flown in from the East Coast to celebrate with us! The rest of our trip was filled with more amazing visits with my family and friends. Nick spent months planning our engagement and made it more special that I could have ever imagined. It was a time I will never forget. "

Arizona Geometric Floral Invasion Styled Shoot Featured on 100 Layer Cake

Ok, I'm going to be SUPER honest here.  This styled shoot should have been shared with all of you a looooooooong time ago.  We LOVED this shoot, the dream team of vendors, our beautiful "bride," and at the time, this new rad venue called, The Paseo.  The Paseo has now become one of the hottest spots in Arizona (no pun intended) to get married and rumor has it, their dates are booking up faster and faster each year!! They've got incredible views of The Superstition Mountains that are killer at sunset.  The venue is basically a blank space so really any kind of color palette, theme, desired feel, here.

We worked hand in hand with Erica from Erica Velasco Photography dreaming up this shoot.  Our goal was to embrace the desert while having some fun with florals.  We wanted the Arizona sunsets to be our color palette.  Malori with Hoot & Holler really came through on this.  She is such a talent and loves having freedom to be creative with her floral design.  And trust us- just let her do her thang!  She's a boss.

The uber talented ladies behind Idieh Design & aBakeshop both brought their hand painted talents to this shoot.  Heidi painted the most gorgeous invitation suite, menu, and place cards.  The colors were so vibrant and the fun shapes made these paper goods feel extra custom.  Andrea & her team blew us away and painted a fun, colorful 2-tiered cake that matched the paper.  These ladies killed it and we were so lucky to have them as part of this.

Kennedy, our beautiful bride, is such a natural beauty.  Our goal was to keep her looking fresh and simplistic when it came to hair & makeup.  Ideal Bridal was the perfect artist to make this happen.  Monica is one of the best when it comes to very natural looking hair & makeup.  Kennedy looked flawless. She wore a dress provided by Bella Lilly Bridal, located in Glendale.  This stunning dress is by Watters.

The rentals for this shoot came from several different vendors.  The gold geometric shapes, dinnerware, and flatware were all from CB2.  The benches used for our ceremony setup, as well as the super unique cake table, were provided by Tremaine Ranch.  The reception table & chairs were all courtesy of Event Rents.  And finally, the linens and glassware were from Classic Party Rentals.  We loved getting to incorporate all of these items from these amazing companies in order to achieve our desired look. Getting such a talented group of vendors together for shoots like this, make our job easy and fun!  There are SO many creative people in this industry and we feel lucky to be surrounded by all of them daily.

NorCal Engagement Photos: Jocelyn & Tommy

Wow! It's been forever since we've blogged (said every wedding planner everywhere).  But let's not talk about that...

Jocelyn & Tommy are getting married this weekend at Bella Rose Estate in Chandler, AZ!!! We’ve been planning & designing their wedding for the last year- all while they’ve been living in California. Planning with them from afar has been so fun and easy. They’ve trusted the design process, are so laid back, and are seemingly easy to please. ;) We’ve had a blast getting to know them and their families and we can’t WAIT to show you what we have in store for their big’s gonna be a good one!

In the meantime, enjoy their cute engagement story told by the bride below. Also, how fun are these engagement photos that were taken in Oakland by the talented Simone Anne Photography?!?

“We had planned a trip to Yosemite National Park to spend the weekend hiking and sight-seeing. There was one hike in particular we both were looking forward to that lead to a waterfall. We set out with a picnic lunch, full of energy for the day. Unfortunately, the hike ended up being much more difficult than we both anticipated! By the time we reached the waterfall, we were completely exhausted and decided to stop and have our picnic lunch. It was a beautiful spot, at the base of the waterfall, in the shade of the forest. I noticed that Tommy was acting strange, but I attributed it to the rigorous hike. I sat back, enjoying the view, not suspecting a thing. That's when he popped the question! He had been hiking all over Yosemite with the ring in his backpack! It was a wonderful moment shared by just the two of us that we will never forget.”

Dreamy Desert Wedding for Arizona Food Blogger: Rhea & Andrew

This insanely gorgeous couple got married on the most perfect February day, a year ago yesterday...and this beautiful bride will celebrate her birthday tomorrow.  What better time to share their special day with all of you!

Rhea & Andrew were married at the Desert Botanical Garden's in Phoenix and had one heck of a reception at Fox Restaurant Concept's- The Showcase Room in Tempe, after.  Their day was filled with an insane amount of love- between them, between their families, and surrounded by their closest friends.  Every detail was perfectly thought out and executed and was a perfect representation of who Rhea & Andrew are both individually, and together.  The day was captured by the ever so sweet Monique and team of Monique Hessler Photography and this wedding was actually featured on Bridal Musing last year.

We loved looking through this images and getting to relive their special day.  We also highly suggest watching their wedding video done by the groom's sister...and we dare you not to cry.  R&A- thank you for allowing us to help plan your big day.  Happy 1 Year Anniversary...and here's to many more!  We are lucky to call you guys past clients, but even luckier to call you friends.  Love you guys!!!
