A Dreamy Backyard Affair with Moody Undertones in Arizona: Kasie & Casey

I’d like to start this post by thanking Kasie & Casey for helping us check off a long-time bucket list item from our list:

Have a couple with matching names.

“KC Squared,” as we liked to call them, had a beautiful backyard wedding filled with the most perfect fall jewel tones and one of the best ceremony moments we have ever witnessed! Surrounded by their children and “their people,” they vowed their love to one another…but not without losing a few eyelashes. You heard that right, Kasie had an entire eye worth of lashes come off mid-ceremony which resulted in her and Casey giggling uncontrollably. At first, no one knew what was happening, but as the laughs turned into tears, the bride’s sister/officiant, informed the crowd what had happened and we all took a few minutes to laugh it out and then gather ourselves.

The rest of the event was filled with equal parts happy tears and hysterical laughs. I’ve never seen two people who just get each other the way these two do. It was an honor to witness.
