Joyful Vow Renewal Brunch Celebration at Andaz Scottsdale

There's no doubt that the last year has been filled with so many ups and downs for engaged couples around the world. From postponements, to cancellations, to plan X, Y, and Z now in the backyard. While many could look at the negatives of the last calendar year, there have also been some insanely cool positives that have emerged.

For one, we were ALL reminded why two people get married in the first place. It's not about the wedding and how extravagant and perfect it is, it's about the two people committing their life to one another... through the good times and the bad. It's about the most important people being in the room to witness said commitment. It's about the importance of resilience in any relationship and coming out of the storm better than you were going in.

For those of us already married, this was a time to showcase the foundations that we've been building for years. The foundation that has held it all together when everything else felt like it was falling apart. The foundation that continues to be there as families evolve, challenges appear, and life goes on. While many of the last 365 days have felt much like a copy, paste, repeat scenario, the foundation has allowed for the happiness and joy to peek through during the worst of times.

Vow renewals have always happened but for some reason, they feel extra special these days. Celebrating the time, energy, and effort that go into maintaining a marriage is needed now more than ever. And what better way to celebrate than over brunch?!?

This colorful vow renewal was such a joy to plan and design. No detail was overlooked and the outcome was equivalent to a burst of sunshine. With the citrus-focused inspiration at play, the bright colors paired well with the perfectly landscaped desert of Andaz Scottsdale. Sarah's Garden brought the most vibrant blooms that helped bring the space to life. The soft blue velvet linens were the added layer of texture we didn't know we needed in our lives. We used lemon, lime, and orange acrylic cutouts for both the custom built escort display, and place cards. Along with these custom pieces, The Details Duo helped bring our budget friendly dreams to life when they used the back of the escort display as a "pun" bar backdrop (get it?). We love working with them to help bring custom details to our clients while sticking to the budget- it's a win/win.

The couple renewed their vows in private before the brunch celebration, with the most stunning linen vow books from Promise Pages. After 10 years of marriage and 3 beautiful kiddos later, these two have a love to be desired. The bride wore Lazaro, while the groom looked dapper as ever in a soft pink suit from Heywood & Ringo.

We can only hope they call us in another 10 years so we can do this all over again!

HUGE thank you to the team that helped make this beautiful day possible:
