Playful Toronto Engagement Session: Danielle & Evan
Let’s just say, Danielle and Evan have been through the RINGER for the last year! They live in Canada, got engaged, and then made the decision to host a destination wedding in Arizona (a place they named their dog after…so you KNOW it’s special). [Then they hired us, thankfully.] Their AZ wedding was set to happen in September of 2020. Covid took over, shut down the Canada/US border, and they decided to postpone until September of 2021. As months past w/o the border reopening and Covid getting worse, we started working with them to plan a Canada wedding instead for Summer 2021 in hopes that that would help their guests feel more comfortable with travel inside the same country. Plus, who knows when the border will open again. Then Covid got slightly better, we voted in a new president that Canada actually likes [ha], and a vaccine is on the way….so, we are back to planning the Arizona wedding and we couldn’t be more excited! FINGERS CROSSED!
Meanwhile, while all of that was going on, D & E found some time to buy a new house and do their engagement photos with Lori Waltenbury near downtown Toronto. This playful session perfectly sums up the joy these two have together. They are so much fun to plan with and we cannot wait for their AZ wedding later this year. We are so happy that through the shitshow that was 2020, at least they had each other [and Zona]…. and wine. ;)
